  • Individual Counseling

Our Clinicians are trained in a host of different modalities and interventions that will be catered to meet your needs. We will work in collaboration with you to eliminate unhealthy patterns that are no longer serving you. We will provide you with the support necessary to cope with the challenges in your life and create a "tool" box of ways to manage stress, trauma triggers, and/or mental health barriers. Individual therapy for teens and adults at Duke City Mind Institute will often take the form of "talk therapy", with alternative techniques utilized if deemed necessary or appropriate. Children referred will engage in individual therapy through the use of Play Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and Art Therapy techniques.

Most of our Clinicians are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Please visit the EMDR tab to learn more.
